Reviews of this Property
Me and my husband love the hollywood casino! the rooms are super clean, nicely decorated, and workers are friendly. they have a super nice indoor pool. We have been to tunica about 4 times and everytime we decided to stay here. The food is good even in the little cafe where we ate breakfast. Sure we drove and visited the other hotels but we always stay at hollywood. The outlet mall is really nice also especially if you have younger kids because they have a carters, osh kosh and childrens place outlet all right in a row! plus gap and old navy-my favorites. We ate at the sams town buffet and it was okay, but for 17 dollars a person including drink-- was not that great! We always seem to win pretty good at hollywood too--the casino is well spaced out with a good variety of games. I highly reccomend it!

Great Time, Great Place!!!!!
Me and my husband decided to go to Tunica in September of 2006. This was our 1st trip to a casino so we didn't know quite what to expect. We reserved a King smoking room for our stay at $59. When we got there we were told that we were being upgraded to a suite at the same price. The suite usually goes for $289 a night. It was a very nice, clean room, with all kinds of extras. There was 1 & 1/2 baths the main one had a jacuzzi tub with seperate shower and a tv in the bathroom, it had a seperate bedroom with a tv, & double closets. The main area had a sofa, chair, big screen tv, fridge, and balcony.
We ate at the buffet and my husband loved the crab legs, (I'm not a seafood eater but I loved the other choices they had.) We also had breakfast at the cafe and it was great, good portions, and prices.
We had a little luck with the slots and came home with an extra $50. Overall, I think this was a wonderful and fun place to stay. We have a trip planned for next week and I can't wait to get there!!!

Fine place to stay, good food, rooms could use an upgrade.
First the good...the food is the best in Tunica. The Fairbanks has the best steaks I have ever eaten in my life. The Epic buffet is small, but everything on it is of high quality and is actually seasoned! Everything tasted very good. I would have to recommend that you avoid the little diner near the hotel though...it has bugs flying around everywhere and getting into the pastries every time I've gone in to look around. The gaming is fun and the atmosphere is one of the best in Tunica. The high stakes slots are actually hitable it seems. I've seen several big payouts on the $25 and $100 slots every time I've stayed there. The layout is uncluttered and the high ceilings in the casino seem to make you just feel good to be there unlike Sam's Town and others where the low ceilings and smoky air make you feel cramped and pressured. The hosts and servers are top notch and security seems to know what they're doing.
The only negative thing I have to add is that the rooms are very poor. The cleanliness is sub par, and the beds are a nightmare to rest in. The Horseshoe Casino has some of the best mattresses I've ever slept on, and a much larger Casino floor and a huge buffet, but I still tend to stay at Hollywood for the food and gaming experience....oh yeah, and they get some VERY beautiful workers from somewhere. All I know is that they're foreign and SEXY!

This was my 2nd stay at a hotel in the Tunica Casino area. I did not know anything about Hollywood but was extremely pleased with everything. I will definetly stay again if and when the opportunity arises for me to return to the casino area.

My first and only time at Hollywood Casino was great. We stayed in a room overlooking the casino floor which was unbelievable wonderful. We hope to bring in the year 2006 at Hollywood. We have told so many people here in Little Rock of the great time we had there till it looks like we will be bringing a lot of people with us.

My wife and I have stayed several times at the Hollywood Hoterl and casino, and each time have found it to be one of the best rooms we have ever stayed in anywhere. The food is excellent, love the steak house, and the casino while small is a world of fun. The staff has always been most gracious, and in fact have gone out of their way more than once to accomadate us. We will be returning next week, to enjoy a few days again. This has got to be my favorite in Tunica....

My husband and I visit Tunica frequently. We have stayed at many other casions and while they are nice they do not compair to Hollywood. Others have more bells and whistles but I find Hollywood to be comforting. The casino is not so big you loose your hubby . The larger casinos have never payed off when visiting them . May as well hand them your money when entering the casino and thank them for the good time and go home ....At Hollywood I have enjoyed playing and winning . The table hosts are very friendly and the table games are a joy to play .I find the indoor pool to be a wonderful thing ... other casinos with outdoor pools well the mosqutios eat you alive!!!!! Last time we came the kids loved the pool area although the slide feature was not in order the kids still enjoyed themselves.Another good thing about your indoor pool in ... We are fair skinned and burn easily... not fear of sunburn at Hollywood!!!!!!I only go to 2 casinos in Tunica anymore .... they are Hollywood and Horseshoe. After going to Hollywood for the first time I was forever wanting to come back to it .... I believe everyone who goes to Tunica should visit Hollywood and see for themselves the wonderful place that it is . It may not have all the bells and whistles that the Grand has but it offers the best chance of winning ... that is in my opinion ...

We rarely stay in the hotel. But we always try to visit and play while in
Tunica. Over the past 7 years, we have met many nice employees and enjoy the
We sorely miss George who managed the buffet. Trudie Fore is one of our favorite people also. Almost forgot. Gordon at the bar is a super guy and
always friendly and cheerful.
Last, but not least: Robert who is in housekeeping and is the hardest working
man at Hollywood.
See Y'all in 2004!

I would very much like to visit but everytime I call I can never get a room. We wanted to stay there in July but instead we had to stay at Sam's Town. I would like to come to the Hollywood Casino December 28, 2003 and check out December 30, 2003, but I was told at this time there is no availability but if I call back around the first of December you might possibly have one available. This is for 2 adults and no children. This does not make sense to me that if I call 3 months ahead there is no availibility but if I wait to the beginning of the month that I want to stay I might get a room?

I had visited the casino before, but never as a hotel guest. I was very satisfied with the service and cheerful, helpful employees. My stay was very enjoyable, once I managed to get the reservation taken care of!
This mix-up was due to Travel-Worm and their extremely poor service and over-charging for the hotel room. My credit card was billed for $198.94 for the night of August 16th, a Saturday. I thought this was a very high rate, but considered the fact that it was a week-end night, and made the reservation anyway since we had planned the trip. On arriving, I was told that there was no room reserved for my party, although I had the confirmation papers e-mailed to me by Travel-Worm in my hand. The hotel reservation employees were most concerned and helpful and involved several people in trying to track down the ‘confirmed’ reservation to no avail. I was told that Travel-Worm had NEVER sent the reservation to the hotel!! Not only that, they informed me that I had been grossly overcharged on my credit card by Travel-Worm. The room was only $129-130 per night with no charge for the extra third person; Travel-Worm had added on $15.00 for the third person in my party!
We were told to contact Travel-Worm concerning the overcharging by several of the hotel employees at the reservation desk, which I did when I arrived home; but was kept on hold for over 15 minutes to finally be told that the 'overcharge' was the hotel's fault due to the fact that the hotel rates could be changed at any time by the hotel so they “had to charge an 'increased' rate'“ to be sure it was covered! They denied getting any commission for the booking, stating they could only deduct the charge of $15 for the 'third' room guest. So, where does the overcharge go? $68.94 is unaccounted for! According to the reservation desk, Travel-Worm has made a BIG money mistake at my expense. If this happens to a lot of guests, somebody is making a lot of money!! It isn't the Hollywood Hotel! Hollywood is getting a lot of BAD PR!! Better to look into this a bit more closely! Needless to say, I will NEVER use Travel-Worm again, and I don't expect to see any reduction of $15 from my credit card balance, either! Not if Travel-Worm has anything to do with it!! Other than that episode, I had a wonderful stay at the Hollywood!!

I make it to Tunca about twice a year. I like the Hollywood. It has what I need, and its very familiar. The staff is *great*. I met my boyfriend there, which is probably why I go back there all the time. But is a nice place and fun to stay. The best news is that this Hollywood is nowhere near California! Still, next time I go, I think I'll head to Las Vegas. Its closer for me, and offers a lot more entertainment value.
